How to Unscramble Letters in Wordscapes
Wordscapes gives you a set of scrambled letters and asks you to find every word hidden within them. Here's how to get better at it — and how to use our free solver tool.
The Manual Approach
1. Identify Your Vowels First
Separate your vowels (A, E, I, O, U) from your consonants. Most English words follow a vowel-consonant pattern, so this gives you a structure to work with.
2. Try CVC Patterns
Consonant-Vowel-Consonant words are very common: CAT, RUN, HIT, BED. Start there.
3. Add a Letter at a Time
Take your shortest word and try adding one letter before or after it. This extends short words into longer ones systematically.
4. Watch for Common Endings
-TION, -NESS, -MENT, -LING, -STER — if you have these letters, they're likely hiding in one of the answers.
